This animation does have a bit of clipping issues, as this was me playing around with the skeleton rigging system for the first time in Maya, which is probably why its a little bit blocky. Either way, I think this was a very huge success.
On this project I wanted to focus on making a more humanoid model, while attempting to make a layered piece of armor. I found this modeling project quite difficult throughout, since I've never really modeled this kind of body type before. I also thought it would be fun to model the knights weapon.


This is still a work in progress as I find the model a bit janky for my liking, I'll likely revisit it at some point and re model the entire zombie that I was attempting to make.


I was challenged to create a blend shape from 2 objects, I decided to make a layout for the circle at the bottom to turn into the shapes above it working its way up. This is the photo gallery from the layout, which I personally find cooler than the animation.






This is my very first model and lighting rig.
